Customised Items able to be traded to collector? - Guild Wars Forums

I want a Tengu sword and Shield, but don't have the bonus mission pack. I know that upon attainment, Togo's story is customised: but, if I were to buy a customized copy of Togo's story of someone who did have the mission pack, then could I trade it in to the collector for a weapon which then would be customized to me?

I actually saw someone in LA a few days ago with "WTS Tengu Sword(gold)" postings. Not sure if he was trying to scam, or an idiot, or both.

The customised situation is a problem area so far as I am concerned.

I see no reason in future editions of the game for it to be a reversable situation if enough gold/materials are thrown at it.

Common sense dictates that all green items are customised to the original owner but this does not affect our usage.

So its a game mechanic whereby we get to add damage by customising it to ourselves.
Its likely to be a physical customisation not a magical one or none weapon items would probably have bonuses other than damage.
